Your household’s food or cash benefits may be lowered or stopped if you do not have an approved reason for not participating.

You can get our virtual services anywhere in the state. You will have online access to our coaching system, TuaPath, online training and education, virtual workshops, virtual job fairs, mock interviews, and much more!

We hope you will use our virtual services!

We offer in-person services in Missoula, Great Falls, Helena, Bozeman, and Billings Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We also put dates on our website for in-person services in other areas of the state. If you don’t see events listed for your area, contact your case manager. They can help you learn about more options.

You need to fill out a timesheet to tell us the hours you work. You will add hours to your timesheet in TuaPath. You may get a penalty if you do not complete your timesheet.

If you chose to get text messages, you will get a text reminder to fill out your timesheet.

We can help you with your timesheet in these ways:

  • Call our Customer Engagement Unit at 844-680-4700
  • Contact your case manager
  • Watch a how-to video on your TuaPath account

Your new case manager (client advocate) will contact you to introduce themselves and to give you their contact information. You can also find their contact information on your TuaPath dashboard.

If you can’t reach your case manager, call us at 844-680-4700. Or you can email MT-ET@maximus.com

No. If you are on an Employability Plan that works for you, you don't have to change anything. If you want to update your plan, we will help you make those changes.

Go to your TuaPath account. You can view our supportive service options and ask for supportive services in your TuaPath account.

If you need help logging in to TuaPath, contact your case manager.

A sanction is a penalty. When you have a sanction, you will not get your part of your household’s benefits. If you do not join or take part in MT E&T, you may get a sanction.

When your sanction (penalty time) ends, you need to contact DPHHS at 1-888-706-1535. They will determine if you still qualify for benefits.

If you qualify, you will need to enroll and take part in MT E&T.

Once your penalty time ends, contact DPHHS at 1-888-706-1535.

They will determine if you qualify again for benefits. If DPHHS refers you back to us (Maximus), your first step is to join the MT E&T program. If your sanction hasn’t started yet and you are working with a career coach, ask your career coach about your next steps.

DPHHS refers people to MT E&T if you are not working at least 30 hours per week at minimum wage or you are not earning $217.50 per week or $870 per month before taxes and deductions.

If you are unable to work, you must give DPHHS proof so they can determine if you are exempt from MT E&T. Until you get an exemption, you must enroll in MT E&T to keep your benefits.

If you applied for SSD/UIB, you must give DPPHS proof so they can determine if you qualify for an exemption from MT E&T. Until you get an exemption, you must enroll in MT E&T to keep your benefits.
